Writer. Teacher. Explorer. Thinker.

Hello!
I'm Tanya Roth, and I'm a candidate for the Fort Zumwalt Board of Education in the April 2026 election. I'm running because this district means everything to my family. My son attends school here, and as a classroom teacher myself, I see education from both sides: as a parent and a professional educator.

I believe that the best thing we can do for our kids is support our educators, manage our resources wisely, and stay focused on what actually matters in schools: good teaching and learning.
What I Stand For:
I believe that great teachers deserve great support. Missouri ranks 49th in the nation in teacher pay, a number that I find both shocking and unacceptable. As a board member, I'll advocate for competitive compensation and the resources our educators need to succeed.

I believe in smart spending, strong advocacy. Our district needs board members who will both manage funds responsibly and fight for adequate state funding. I'll do both of these things, working in collaboration with full board.

I believe in education first. Fort Zumwalt is a great district because we've stayed focused on teaching and learning. I'll keep it that way - no drama, no distractions, just excellent education for every student.
